Written to celebrate the name‐day of the Empress Elisabeth of Bohemia, the assembled Greek Gods, representing their respective heavenly bodies, extol the Empress' virtues in suitably florid, show‐stopping style. Marcon leads the La Cetra Baroque Orchestra of Basel, with Franco Fagioli, Christophe Dumeaux, Delphine Galou, and Veronica Cangemi among the soloists.
