Adelheid Krause‐Pichler has made a name for herself above all as an interpreter of 18th century music and is regarded as an outstanding Bach specialist. She studied flute and musicology in Freiburg and Berlin. She was a lecturer at the Pädagogische Hochschule Berlin, the Hochschule der Künste and the University of Rostock. Numerous concerts at home and abroad as well as records and CD recordings bear witness to important interpretations of the flute literature.
