Born in Tashkent (Uzbekistán) in 1974, Eldar Nebolsin began piano studies at the age of five with Natalia Wasinkina. He went on to win the Young Russian Pianists Competition in Tbilisi, aged 12, and the Radio Concertino Praga at the age of 14.

Nebolsin's international career was launched with his triumph at the Eleventh Santander International Piano Competition in 1992 where he got, besides the Grand Prix, the Prize for the best performance of the Mozart concerto. In June 2005 Eldar Nebolsin hast been awarded the First Prize at the 1st edition of the Sviatoslav Richter International Piano Competition.

Nebolsin was engaged by over 130 orchestras, like New york Philharmonic Orchestra, Chicago Symphony, Cleveland, Detroit, Houston, Minnesota, Baltimore, San Luis, Montreal, Cologne Radio Symphony Orchestra, Bamberger Symphoniker, Deutsches Symphonie‐Orchester, Symphonic Orchestra of Stuttgart, Estonian National Orchestra, Deutsche Oper Orchester Berlin, Vienna Chamber Orchestra, Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, Gulbenkian Foundationn Orchestra, Orchestra di Santa Cecilia, Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia y Tenerife, Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla, RealFilharmonía de Galicia, etc. with conductors like Ricardo Chailly, Yuri Temirkanov, Leonard Slatkin, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Hans Vonk, Yakov Kreizberg, Lawrence Foster, Vasili Petrenko, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos Pedro Halffter , Ros Marbà, Víctor Pablo, among others.

After his debut in the Carnegie Hall, he plays several recitals in the Kennedy Center of Washington, Roy Thompson Hall of Toronto, Carnegie Hall of Pittsburgh, as well as in the principal European venues like Herkuless Saal in Munich, Konzerthaus Berlin, Milano Conservatoire, Tonhalle Zurich, Musikhalle of Hamburgo, Chatelet in Paris, and in countries Hungary, Luxembourg, Australia (Sydney y Melbourne), etc.

In addition to his piano‐solo career, Eldar plays many chamber music. He has performed with numerous musicians such as Julian Rachlin, Alexey Ougrinchouk, Jan‐Eric Gustafsohn, Katrin Scholz, Erato quartett or Latica Honda‐Rosenberg, with whom he recorded two Prokofiev Sonatas for Artenova. Another two recordings of Eldar for DECCA include solo works by Chopin and Liszt, a Chopin Piano Concerto and other works for piano and orchestra with the Deutsches Symphonie‐Orchester Berlin and Vladimir Ashkenazy .

Between his recent and future commitments we have to mention the Listz piano concerto nº 1 with Orquesta de la RTVE and Mto. Pedro Halffter, Paganini‐Rachmaninov Rhapsody in San Petesburgo with Yuri Temirkanov, Rachmaninov concert nº 2 de in Denmark, piano recitals in Valladolid playing Rachmaninov preludes as well as in Lisboa, Tchaikovsky piano concerto nº 1 with Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra and Mto. Olivieri –Munroe, Schumann piano concerto in Germany, Mozart's nº 27 concerto with the Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid and Helmut Rilling, Saint‐Saens Piano concerto nº 2 with Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, tour in Spain with Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla playing Liszt piano concerto nº 2, Rachmaninov nº 2 in Halle (Germany), recording for Naxos the Preludes of Rachmaninov as well as the both Liszt Piano concertos and the “Totenhanz”, Rachmaninov piano concerto nº 1 for Universal Records, etc.

Eldar Nebolsin Has studied with Dmitri Bashkirov in Madrid and he teaches in the “Internacional Institue of Chambre Music” in Madrid
