Director Tatjana Gürbaca brings her version of the Ring Trilogy to the stage of the Theater an der Wien.
Gürbaca looks at the final catastrophe of Wagner's masterwork, the death of Siegfried, through the eyes of the three main characters Hagen, Brunhild, and Siegfried to make their version of the events surrounding Siegfried's death visible to the audience. In order to so, she drew from Wagner's entire Ring Trilogy, bringing the story lines together in a new and fresh approach.
On the second evening, the audience will discover the dramatic tale surrrounding Siegfried, in which elements of the Valkyrie are interwoven with the Ring story itself.
