Konzerthausorchester Berlin: Iván Fischer with Joszef Lendvay

Sobre el espectáculo

Attempt to restrain your toes from tapping and your heart from beating wild and free — it may be a losing battle! Iván Fischer is joined by renowned Hungarian violinist Joszef Lendvay for the fiery music of their homeland.

Brahms' 'Hungarian Dances', Liszt's 'Hungarian Rhapsody', and de Sarasate's virtuosic Zigeunerweisen bring Lendvay, and his son, to the stage, with world‐renowned Cimbalom artist, Oszkár Ökrös, adding a further iconic flavor of Eastern Europe. Schoenberg's orchestral arrangement of Brahms' Piano Quartet brings a colorful evening to its close.
