Svetlana Trifonova

Svetlana Trifonova is a Russian soprano. In 1998‐1999 she was a soloist at the Moscow Bolshoi Theatre and since 1999 she has been a soloist at the Marinski Theatre in St. Petersburg.

Some of her roles: Gilda (Verdi’s Rigoletto), Queen of the Night (Mozart’s The Magic Flute), Lucia (Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor), Ninetta (Prokofjev’s Love for Three Oranges), Olympia (Offenbach’s The Tales of Hoffmann), Cleopatra (Cimarosa’s Cleopatra) and many others. She has also sung a role of Oscar in Verdi’s Un Ballo in Maschera at the Covent Garden in London.
