Wiener Philharmoniker, Riccardo Muti: Mozart & Bruckner

About the Event

On this evening, the Vienna Philharmonic will perform works by Bruckner and Mozart in Berlin under the baton of the great conductor Riccardo Muti, who has been closely associated with them for decades.

From the ranks of the orchestra comes solo flutist Karl‐Heinz Schütz, who will interpret Mozart's only concerto originally written for flute. Bruckner´s 7th Symphony will be performed. The composer's deep sorrow for the late Richard Wagner can be heard in the coda of the Adagio.
