Widmann and Mahler: Orchestre de Paris

About the Event

Under the baton of Daniel Harding the Orchestre de Paris performs Mahler's last finished symphony and Jörg Widmann's Concerto for viola and orchestra.

Antoine Tamestit will join the orchestra on stage for Widmann's work which was composed for the Orchestre de Paris and Tamestit in 2015. After that the orchestra will turn to Mahler's celebration of life and the riches of nature.
