Vivaldi's Il Teuzzone: Gran Teatre del Liceu
About the Event
Jordi Savall leads a concert version of Vivaldi's rarely performed opera, "Il Teuzzone", at the Gran Teatre del Liceu.
"Il Teuzzone" was first premiered in 1719 during the Carnival of Mantua. Baroque music expert Jordi Savall and his Concert of Nations perform the work in Barcelona during carnival, almost 300 years after the first performance.

Please note: In some areas of the Gran Teatre del Liceu it is possible to be seated with a partially obstructed view of the stage. The Gran Teatre del Liceu recommends Category 2 for the finest and completely unobstructed view of the performance. The stage is not visible from seats starting in row 2 of Category 8. A monitor is provided for following the performance in this section. Only available for operas.
