Vespres d’Arnadí & Dani Espasa: Palau de la Música Catalana

About the Event

Dani Espasa and Pere Saragossa founded a group specialized in the baroque repertoire with period instruments in 2005 and adopted a very special name: Vespres d´Arnadí. Vespers refers to the playful spirit of the academies, a name given in the 18th century to the concerts that entertained and animated the dinners of noble and bourgeois families. And the arnadí or carabassa is a traditional sweet from the Valencian Community that is usually made during Lent and Easter and the oldest of the gastronomy of Xàtiva and the neighbouring regions.
