Verdi's Rigoletto: Chorégies d'Orange

About the Event

Verdi's Rigoletto comes to the spectacular Roman Theater of Orange, with rising‐star soprano Nadine Sierra as Gilda and Leo Nucci in his signature role of Rigoletto.

Verdi's moving interpretation of Victor Hugo's tragic love story puts more emphasis on the psychology of the characters than on the historical plot. Mikko Franck conducts this production by French stage director Charles Roubaud.
