Marcus Merkel leads the Ernst‐Senff‐Chor and the Junge Philharmonie Berlin in a performance of Verdi's moving and dramatic interpretation of the death mass.

Die Künstler haben alles gegeben und schön gesungen. Im Berliner Dom standen sie jedoch unter großen Kuppel, wo der Hall sie verebben lies. Bei schwieriger Akustik, wie unter einer Kuppel eines Domes, sollte die Veranstaltungsleitung die Platzierung der Künstler etwas besser planen.
