Verdi's La Traviata: Chorégies d'Orange

About the Event

A dream ensemble performs Verdi's "La Traviata" at the stunning Roman Theater of Orange, with Diana Damrau in the title role of Violetta.

Verdi's operatic interpretation of Dumas' novel, "The Lady of the Camellias", is replete with well‐loved arias and duets. At the center of the narrative is a tragic love story between the courtesan, Violetta, and her beloved, Alfredo.
