With Ildar Abdrazakov, conductor Valery Gergiev presents the most important performer of Attila of the present day. Inspired by the desire to fuel the national sentiment of his fellow countrymen, Verdi created one musical highlight after another in this opera. Today the work is a wonderful field of activity for the many fresh voices that Gergiev discovers and promotes in Russia.
