Tribute to Enrique Granados: Gran Teatre del Liceu
About the Event
José Carlos Martínez, director of the Compañía Nacional de Danza (National Company of Dance), selected this special program to commemorate the centenary of Enrique Granados' death. The music and choreographies featured in this program include works by Granados, Chopin, Schubert, and Glazunov united through the magical language of dance.
The production includes four sections:
Homenaje a Granados choreography by Kirilov
The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude choreography by Forsythe and music by Schubert
In The Night Solo piano, music by Chopin and choreography by Jerome Robbins.
Raymonda Divertimento by Glazunov choreography by José Carlos Martínez.

Please note: In some areas of the Gran Teatre del Liceu it is possible to be seated with a partially obstructed view of the stage. The Gran Teatre del Liceu recommends Category 2 for the finest and completely unobstructed view of the performance. The stage is not visible from seats starting in row 2 of Category 8. A monitor is provided for following the performance in this section. Only available for operas.
