Thomas Hengelbrock conducts his Balthasar Neumann Choir and Ensemble in a program dedicated to Ludwig van Beethoven compositions.
It is 22 December 1808. In Vienna, Beethoven has just completed his final performance as a soloist. The programme is a real marathon, featuring, alongside the Fifth and Sixth Symphonies, the Fourth Piano Concerto, the Choral Fantasy and a few movements of the Mass in C Major.
