Hear Mahler's famous work "Des Knaben Wunderhorn" interpreted by internationally renowned baritone Thomas Hampson.
The famous American baritone is equally at home on opera stages and in recital halls. He is known for his introspection and intelligence when approaching a new role. This evening he will join the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra and conductor Long Yu in Mahler's "Des Knaben Wunderhorn". Also on the program is Richard Strauss' "Also sprach Zarathustra" and an excerpt from the Beijing Opera's "The drunken Beauty".
