The celebrated soprano Laura Di Marzo will perform arias from Bellini, Verdi and Puccini accompanied by pianist Claudio Martelli at the Sagrestia del Borromini. Her voice will lead us through the charming world of music theatre, featuring the most stunning Belcanto melodies.
Bellini, Verdi and Puccini are commonly acknowledged as the major exponents of Italian Opera, each of them possessing their own genius. This is a journey dedicated to intimate though intense emotions, where timbre unevenness and technical virtuosity are its major ingredients, which amazed the then audiences for its expressive power and sound purity.
