The Garden of Delights: Jacob Van Eyck

Discover a major figure of 17th century's Dutch music, Jacob Van Eyck, thanks to the soprano Lucía Martín‐Cartón and the Baroque ensemble Les Ambassadeurs at the Théâtre Grévin.

Jacob Van Eyck was a famous carillon player, organist, flutist, and composer who created "The Flute's Garden of Delights", a collection of about 140 melodies that were famous at his time, among which can be found songs by John Dowland such as "Flow my tears". The program of this evening features original works by Dowland, Moulinié and Caccini, along with virtuoso variations by Van Eyck.
