Florian Weber — Echo‐Klassik award winner and artist of the renowned label ECM Records — is a constant in the global jazz scene. He is not only a brilliant, but also an always curious and experimental musician. He started piano lessons at the age of four and played in classical as well as jazz ensembles for many years. His gift for thinking and improvising in complex polyphonic structures has already impressed audiences worldwide.

The programme will include classical music pieces by Brahms, Messiaen, Bach and Mozart, with links to the classical European improvisation culture. In the jazz area Florian Weber will play his own compositions.
