This program of the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra features works by Nielsen, Tchaikovsky, and composer in residence Joey Roukens under the baton of Thomas Søndergård.

Carl Nielsen's violin concerto will be performed by the young Czech master violinist Josef Špaček. The program continues with Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5 — from funeral to fanfare.
