Witness a meeting of two worlds as the Symphony Orchestra of Norrland's Opera, under newly‐appointed chief conductor, Elim Chan, play Mozart, Sandström, and Hosokawa. The Hong Kong native has risen rapidly through the ranks, much like pianist Claire Huangci, who has progressed from wunderkind to international soloist with aplomb.

Playing Mozart's brooding C Minor Concerto No. 24, Huangci underscores her growth from child prodigy to outstanding artist with unmistakeable clarity. Toshio Hosokawa's 'Blossoming II' describes another sort of development — that of a lotus under the care of a master gardener — while the ever‐evolving art of Jan Sandström brings us Solamente Tú.
