Nathalie Stutzmann conducts the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic in orchestral extracts from Wagner’s ‘Tristan und Isolde’ and ‘ Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg’, and Richard Strauss’ ‘Death and Transfiguration’.

At the second of these concerts, the contralto‐turned‐conductor is joined by celebrated oboist François Leleux, who adds Richard Strauss’ luscious Oboe concerto to a programme that combines the works of two of the most influential composers of the late‐19th and early 20th centuries.
