
The Royal Armoury

Established by King Gustav II Adolph in 1628, the Royal Armoury is the oldest museum in Sweden. The museum displays a unique collection of costumes, clothing, finest armour, and historical garments. The oldest artefacts in the museum date back to the 16th century. The Royal Armoury has been located in the cellar of the Royal Palace's southern wing since the 1970s. The museum is a wonderful location for classical music concerts in a royal atmosphere.
