Special Offer: George Balanchine: Paris Opera Ballet

About the Event

Experience the abstract ballets of George Balanchine, a choreographer of essential significance to the 20th century. The Paris Opera Ballet performs three emblematic works, in which dance is a pure visualization of music.

The program opens with 'Concerto Barocco', a tribute to one of Bach's most beloved concert for two violins. Paul Hindemith's Theme and Four variations is the inspiration for the next work on the program: The 'Four temperaments'. The performance closes with 'Serenade', on the composition by Ballet's most cherished composer: Tchaikhovsky.
