A musical, literary and cinematographic journey to discover Sicily, its history and culture: from Italian melodrama to Visconti's Gattopardo soundtracks to Pirandello's theatre and the Greek tragedy, Giuseppe Grazioli takes the podium at laVerdi to direct four Italian symphonic masterpieces that, with different languages and forms, have recounted and imagined the wonders, concerns and myths of an island that is the heart of the Mediterranean and of our identity.
