Journey with the the celebrated singer, actress, performer, Dagmar Manzel through 'Seven Songs / The Seven Deadly Sins'. This production, staged by Barrie Kosky at the Komische Oper Berlin, brings even the highly critical Berlin audience to its feet in rousing applause.

Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht created The Seven Deadly Sins before their flight to the USA. Their last joint work in exile was first performed in Paris in 1933. It portrays the odyssey of two sisters, both called Anna and essentially the two different spirits of a single being – one 'beautiful, the other practical'.
