Salve Regina: Claire Lefilliâtre & L'Entretien des Muses

Soprano Claire Lefilliâtre and the ensemble L'Entretien des Muses perform a program dedicated to music for the Virgin Mary, under the direction of Stéphane Fuget at the Oratoire du Louvre.

Practically all of the most famous European composers in history dedicated one or several works to the Virgin Mary. For this concert, the program features, among others, Vivaldi's famous motets "Nulla in mundo pax" and Pergolesi's "Salve Regina", as well as works by German composers Händel and Buxtehude.
