Royal Scottish National Orchestra Chorus: Prague Proms

About the Event

Libor Pešek conducts the Royal Scottish National Orchestra Chorus, and the Czech National Symphony Orchestra in a performance of Mendelssohn‐Bartholdy’s Scottish Symphony and Mozart's Requiem.

This year’s festival certainly can’t be criticised for skimping and saving when it comes to choruses. With its soloists, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra Chorus will be performing Mozart’s Requiem. Maestro Libor Pešek has placed Mendelssohn‐Bartholdy’s Scottish Symphony in the first half, and with any luck, we may even hear the bagpipes.

Performers:

Royal Scottish National Orchestra Chorus
Lucie Silkenová, soprano
Václava Krejčí-Housková, alto
Tomáš Kořínek, tenor
Jan Šťáva, bass
