Joaquin Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez must be among the most instantly‐recognisable works ever written for classical guitar. Paired with del Falla's 'Suite from El amor brujo', and Gabriel Fauré's equally vividly‐colored Masques et bergamasques, this is a concert designed to induce the senses to release the here and now and embark on a journey to another place and time.
