Rock meets classical music — Ruhland

About the Event

Ruhland turns into Rockland when the legendary Stefan Krähe and band pick up the guitar together with a full symphony orchestra. The big hits from 50 years of rock history, from Status Quo to Karat are on the programme at this special concert, and yes, it will be loud.

Ruhland, the town on the historic border with Saxony in southern Brandenburg, is part of the new industrial beginning in the region: in Schwarzheide right next door, a huge new battery factory with thousands of new jobs is being built next to BASF's traditional site. Stefan Krähe was the front man of the legendary rock band, SIX, for 25 years, and they have played for over a million listeners in Brandenburg alone. Together with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, the great rock hits resound in a new, noble, authentic and grand guise.
