About the Event

Meet an emerging star about whom there is a lot of fanfare! Accompanied by another Hungarian talent on the rise, pianist Marcell Szabó, Pálfalvi plays an exciting program of works written, or specially arranged, for the trumpet.

A world premiere is always exciting, and particularly when the work in question is by Peter Eötvös. Presented alongside works by an eclectic group of composers including Chopin, Hindemith, Enescu and Bartók, this is a program sure to present many facets of the art of the trumpet.
