Ray Chen plays Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto: Summer Concerts at Concertgebouw

About the Event

Exceptional pianist Ray Chen performs together with the Würth Philharmoniker under the baton of American conductor Dennis Russell Davies.

The evening begins with Prokofiev's first symphony and finishes with Dvořák's famous 'From the New World'. Highlight is Mendelssohn's first Violin Concerto in E minor in which violinist Ray Chen can show his prowess.

Top musicians from the Netherlands and around the world bring you all your favorite classical pieces, as well as some surprises! In the beautiful Mirror Hall there is a summer restaurant where you can enjoy a three‐course dinner before the concert. You can also take a look backstage before the concert with one of the Concertgebouw's concert hall tours. (The tour is not included in the ticket price and can only be booked on the spot)
