Indulge your senses in an evening of chamber music for string quartet by Mozart, Beethoven, and Joan Magrané.

The young Catalan Quartet Gerhard have chosen a program that pays tribute to 'Papa Haydn', the metaphorical father of the form, particularly in their programming of Mozart's 'Spring' Quartet No. 14 in G major, the first of the 'Haydn Quartets' dedicated to the elder master. Beethoven's Quartet No. 16 and Joan Magrané's Second Quartet continue this theme of expertise passed down the generations.
