Posener Knabenchor: The Most Beautiful Christmas

About the Event

n 2003, the Mayor of Poznań initiated a boys' choir, which is now one of the most famous European boys' choirs with over 3000 concerts in various countries and concert halls on four continents. The ensemble is directed by the composer and conductor Jacek Sykulski. Paying homage to tradition, it brings a new quality to world choir music by introducing, among other things, its own modern techniques of voice training and presenting both classical and contemporary music as well as world premieres with equal energy and joy.
On the 4th weekend of Advent the Poznañ Boys' Choir will bring the most beautiful German and European Christmas carols to Berlin. In the unique acoustics of St. Mary's Church on Alexander Square, young, clear, highly professional voices will resound in a way rarely heard in the capital.
