Explore the unexpected similarities between early and late Beethoven, with celebrated conductor Gabor Takacs‐Nagy at the head of Orchestra I Pomeriggi Musicali, in the excellent acoustic of Milan's Teatro dal Verme's Main Hall.

The First and Second Symphonies are unmistakably the works of youth, and the last flourishing of the Classical style. Written in Beethoven's final years, the Gratulations‐Menuet could be expected to have a very different style, yet it looks backward, having more in common with those early works than the composer's later orchestral oeuvre.
