Plínio Fernandes draws inspiration from a long line of greats — Antônio Carlos Jobim, Milton Nascimento, Jacob do Bandolim, Violeta Parra, Edu Lobo, Cartola and Laurindo Almeida.
In this solo performance at the legendary live music venue The Jago in Dalston, Plínio Fernandes combines the Brazilian folk tradition with the world of Western classical music.
The Jago is a renowned arts and cultural centre in the renovated buildings of the Hackney Gazette printing works.
