'Ahoy and ohe!' — Pippi Longstocking is moving to Villa Kunterbunt! There she wants to wait for her father, who was lost as a captain during their last adventure together on the high seas. The neighbor children Annika and Tommy quickly make friends with this girl who is so fearless and doesn't want to fit into any pigeonhole.
She neither likes it at school, nor does she let herself be put into a children's home. Even a coffee party at the neighbors' house makes her burst with fame. Pippi has everything she needs for life: an almost endless imagination and the clear will to have fun together with Annika and Tommy!
