Pinocchio, world premiere: Festival d'Aix‐en‐Provence
About the Event
Theater director Joël Pommerat and composer Philippe Boesmans offer a refreshing vision of Pinocchio, the most famous wooden figure of children's literature and cinema, who becomes an insolent and rude opera character in this new production for both young and old alike.
Six singers embody the different colorful characters of this musical tale, from a cabaret fairy to a circus director, under the musical direction of Emilio Pomarico.
Sung in French with French surtitles
