Discover a musical masterpiece, based on the poetic epic that formed Finland's national identity. Pietari Inkinen conducts the Prague Symphony Orchestra in Sibelius' Kullervo.
A suite of symphonic movements, with choral sections and solo mezzo‐soprano and baritone, Sibelius creates an orchestral picture of the life of the eponymous anti‐hero in the epic poem Kalevala. Renowned Finnish singers Johanna Rusanen and Jorma Kalervo Hynninen sing the protagonist and his sister under the baton of their countryman.
