Pianist Herbert Schuch will perform music by Beethoven and Ligeti in Aula Magna of Sapienza University of Rome.

Herbert Schuch plays regularly at the Salzburg Festival, the Berlin Philharmonie, the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie and with leading orchestras in London, St. Petersburg, Munich. He won the Beethoven Prize in Vienna in 2004 and Beethoven is also at the center of his recital in Rome, with two Sonatas — including one of the most famous, the 'Waldstein' — and the eleven Bagatelle op. 119, which Schuch will play alternating with eleven pieces of Music sought (1951‐1953) by Ligeti.
