Witness the opera directing debut of star theater director Simon Stone. The young Australian takes on Debussy's only opera, 'Pelléas et Mélisande', with the Norwegian National Opera in Oslo.
Based on a play by Maurice Maeterlinck, Debussy's opera depicts a dreamlike world with deeply human emotions. Secrets and mystery blur the lines of a tragic love triangle, all reflected in the shimmering and complex harmonies of Debussy's music.
