Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris

Paris, France

The famous Notre Dame de Paris (Our Lady of Paris) Cathedral is one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture in the world. Music has been an integral part of the life of Notre Dame Cathedral since its construction. The Notre Dame Choir School (Maîtrise Notre-Dame de Paris) was established as the spectacular building took shape, and generations of composers have written music to be performed in the Cathedral since the Middle Ages.
