Kent Nagano is considered one of the outstanding conductors of our time. He is at home in both opera and orchestral repertoire, and his engagements regularly take him to the podium of leading international orchestras. In 2006 he also became Music Director of the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal and has remained loyal to this orchestra, which has since become Canada's leading orchestra under his direction.
In Berlin Jean‐Yves Thibaudet is partner of the orchestra. As one of the best and most sought‐after pianists of our time, Thibaudet has the rare ability to combine poetic sensitivity with dazzling technical skills.
