About the Event
The Polish Radio Orchestra ranks among the best string orchestras in Europe, driven by the uncompromising artistic demand of its musical director, Agnieszka Duczmal. At the Salle Gaveau the orchestra presents itself with its 'core' repertoire, notably the intense and fascinating Concerto notturno by Górecki and, above all, Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1. At the piano, Denis Pascal will deploy all his art: lyricism in the phrasing, poetry without mienery, refinement in the colors, without forgetting, of course the rigor in the sound construction essential to Chopin.
