Combining Bembo's music and that of her better‐known contemporary Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre with electronic music by Mattias Petersson and a Swedish‐language libretto, soprano Christina Larsson Malmberg and Baroque violinist Catalina Langborn have created a new work that has toured Europe to widespread acclaim, with themes that are still relevant, and stories that lift forgotten characters from the mists of time.
