Noseda, Bronfman and London Symphony Orchestra (II): Shanghai Symphony Hall

About the Event

In this highly‐anticipated concert, hear the mellifluous sounds of classical music by Ludwig van Beethoven, Maurice Ravel and Modest Petrovich Mussorgsky at Shanghai's treasured and world‐renowned Shanghai Symphony Hall.

As the symphony orchestra with the longest history in London, London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is the most influential music groups in Europe with its overwhelming advantages. Sir Simon Rattle has been appointed as its Music Director, and he is going to write a new page in the orchestra’s history. LSO’s Principal Guest Conductor Gianandrea Noseda will interpret Ravel’s Rapsodie espagnole and Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition in the concert. And Yefim Bronfman will perform Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.3 in C minor, Op.37 as soloist. This work is considered as the first full with Beethoven’ style in a real sense: piano blends with the orchestra into one harmonious whole.
