Norma: Teatro Real
About the Event
Bellini's 'Norma' represents the peak of bel canto opera. This opera by Vicenzo Bellini introduces the public of Teatro Real to the tragedy of a woman who has broken her sacred vows and chooses to suffer the fatal consequences.
Davide Livermore's production integrates video sequences that amplify the military drama, while still bringing out the emotional details of Norma's inner conflict.
