Nicolas van Poucke and his sister, the popular cellist Ella van Poucke, will play the complete Beethoven works for piano and cello in two evening concerts, of which this is the second.
Nicolas van Poucke has established himself as a pianist to watch, with a string of competition successes and notable performances. Here, he plays an all‐Chopin program, ranging from preludes and a polonaise to the Second and Third Sonatas — works acknowledged to be among the Polish composer's most demanding — and most satisfying.
