New Year's Concert: House of Architects in St. Petersburg

Enjoy a New Year's concert in St. Petersburg with the participation of the Mariinsky and Mikhailovsky Theatres.

A festive theatrical concert at the A.A. Polovtsov Mansion (White Hall), where the creative association of musicians and soloists of Russia's leading musical theatres 'Opera Atelier' will present world opera and operetta hits.

The programme includes arias and ensembles from Lehar's operetta, The Merry Widow, Strauss's Die Fledermaus, Kalman's Circus Princess, excerpts from the operas Carmen (Bizet), Boheme (Puccini) and Italian in Algeria. (Rossini), as well as Russian opera hits.

*An hour before the start of each concert (at 15:00 and 18:00) the guests of the evening will have a lecture on the history of the mansion of Alexander Alexandrovich Polovtsov, a member of the State Council and State Secretary of His Imperial Majesty.

The presentation is designed for 1 hour and 10 minutes without intermission.
